De certo que alguns de vós estavam a estranhar o facto de ainda não me ter pronunciado acerca desta catástrofe, mas tive de esperar para deixar a poeira assentar...

De facto é muito triste o que está a acontecer, já nem falo do alerta do Nosso Planeta, dessa fúria com que a Natureza nos chama a atenção, mas do resto que o ser humano é capaz de fazer... Sinceramente não sou capaz de esconder a minha indignação em relação à violência, aos roubos e a tudo o resto que começou a surgir, só que fico muito frustrada por só nos lembrarmos que os outros são gente como nós com estes fenómenos da natureza acontecem!

O meu primeiro pensamento foi: tudo bem tiveram azar mas e o resto das pessoas que vivem todos os dias aqui ao lado e que não são ajudadas...? A seguir pensei: claro, precisam da nossa ajuda! E, de novo, apareceram na minha cabeça aquelas pessoas que vivem ao meu lado e que todos os dias sofrem por não ter nada que comer... Voltei a pensar no assunto e pensei: Luísa, será que não estás a ser insensível?!? E, de novo, me veio à cabeça estes tempos:

E pensei: Fogo continuam a morrer milhares de crianças à fome, passados tantos anos de apelo, de campanhas de solidariedade... Fora os que morrem em guerras que não iniciaram; mais os que morrem por ignorância daqueles que os governam, estilo na Suazilândia onde se prevê que em 15 anos acabe a população adulta vitima de AIDS/SIDA/HIV... Mais todos os outros que a Amnistia Internacional tenta salvar da pena de morte... E não vou continuar a dar mais exemplos porque me sinto impotente porque não consigo que toda a humanidade tenha qualidade de vida e seja feliz, porque sinto que nada faço para que tudo isto acabe de vez!!! :(

E, de repente, vem-me à cabeça uma frase de um texto lindo do DeRose:
"(...) se não posso fazer toda a Humanidade feliz, quero fazer feliz uma pessoa, a partícula da Humanidade que está mais próxima de mim. Quero que essa seja a minha mais nobre razão para estar vivo! Faça-o você também."

E, embora esse texto seja escrito relativamente à relação mulher/homem, transpus a ideia para esta realidade "Haiti"e pensei:

posso fazer muito e vou fazer por aqueles que estão mais próximos de mim!!!
